The Matcha Hunt

How The Hunt Works

1. 1Pick A CafeChoose a listed cafe and try its matcha.
2. 2Ask Five QuestionsBrand, region, harvest, milling and how it is whisked. Our guide shows how.
3. 3Stamp Your CardTick the cafe below. The cafe's stamp sets your points, and you earn one more if it answered a question.

Points: Entered 1, Sourced 2, Ledger Verified 3, Koicha Grade 5, plus 1 for asking the questions. Ranks: Leaf Spotter at 5 points, Whisk Keeper at 12, Ledger Keeper at 20. This is a game, not a ranking of cafes. Read How To Order Matcha for the five questions.
